Startup Activation Problem

hi,i had previously been using kaspersky anti-virus.after uninstalling it i installed avast.
Now,every time my windows start it gives the msg that ksapersky is running so avast is being dis-activated.
I really don't know how to fix this!

Remove Kaspersky
completly
. That means including the registry keys that it created.
That will solve the problem.

i have gone to regedit,but there r no keys named of kaspersky labs or anything!
