Laptop cannot access Internet

Just loaded Avast Internet Security 7 on my laptop.  Worked fine for one day and MSOutlook started to have issues with locking up and not responding.  Then could not connect to the Internet.  Able to get to the desktop and see other programs.  Pretty much lost all Internet connectivity.

We removed Norton Security prior to the installation of the Avast program.  No firewalls.  Connected to a router and cable mdoem.  I am able to use my VoIP phone without any issues so hitting the Internet through my router currently.

We did not use the Norton removal tool.  Not sure of the firewall element.  Sorry.

In that case download/run the removal tool, reboot and then retry the net

Norton get very jealous when you remove it for another AV......and then leave lots of files to create problems
