Where does infected mail go?
« on: June 08, 2012, 04:44:22 AM »
I am running Thunderbird with several accounts set up (several of which share the same imap server)

MailShield reported a virus in one incoming email, but it did not say what it did with that email, nor can I find that in the account
The popup only listed the virus, subject. from, to:

Where does it quarantine such emails?

The e-mail is still in your mail folder in the mail client, we do currently not delete or move the infected files in any shield, we just prevent them to be executed. You can find the mail info in the mailshield history tab in the GUI or in the pop messages history.

In the next update, there will be the possibility to let the mailshield mark the mails with X-Antivirus-Status headers so you can filter them in your mail client automaticaly using a filter. So stay tuned! :-)

But that's  the problem. I cannot find those emails anywhere in my inbox, nor other folders..
