I use Puran on both Windows 7 and the virtual machines with XP.

How do you setup Puran, any special settings?  :)

It is pretty straight forward, you might want to leave it on the default settings to start with.

The fact that it may be signed or not doesn't dictate how effective a piece of software is.

I decided to install puran and it seems a very good program.
is the PIOZR optimiser very effective as i havent used it.

I guess it would rather depend on the state of your hard disk prior to optimisation. Whilst I have it checked, I have been using Puran for some considerable time, so I doubt I would see a change even if I unchecked it.

Well... A negative report I need to do: PIOZR increased my boot time. I'd rather trust in Microsoft adjusts of the files needed to boot.
I use Puran, just not the PIOZR.

the puran boot time defrag apparently deletes your restore points also.
