Just as an FYI, after cleaning off this trojan I noticed that Windows was not automatically downloading and installing updates. I manually tried to update, but got error code: 80246008. Turns out my BITS service was missing (possibly hijacked from the Trojan) which was preventing Windows from updating. I came across the following link that helped reinstall the BITS service and everything seems to be working again. Hope this helps anyone who may have encountered this problem as a result of the Trojan.

Thanks.

That is a consequence of some of the infections .. But I have a tool that will show me what is missing and in the vast majority of cases I can repair it
