MSN Messanger file transfer.
« on: December 30, 2004, 03:50:45 PM »

To scan a file from Msn Messanger  is it correct  to use
ASHserv.exe , then write its name in Msn Messanger /tools/Options /Messages/File transfer  ....?

To help I attach the GUI.
Many thanks.

Nope, use AshQuick.exe. But why not use the Instant Messaging provider in Avast?
(see Avast's help/manual)

If you use Instant Messager provider you don't have to use anything.
Doublescanning the same thing with same AV would be a stupid thing to do...

These are the instructions provided by MSN ....
I 'm not interested in instant messages ...MSN Messager is
much more . My son  can play with Age of Empires (a  game ) and more others .
I could show you these instructions....but they are in Italian .

I suggest you start reading the Avast help/manual, it will tell you what the IM provider is. It is not only for messages !
