« on: June 20, 2012, 10:11:28 PM »
Hello, I have just got a Mention on twitter saying that if I install a application on my computer I will get a lot of followers? I don't think this is true I think she is spreading a scam, just beware of this and do you think this is a virus?

There are some tools to clean things up:
Manageflitter: http://manageflitter.com/
Just unfollow: http://www.justunfollow.com/
Twitter k@rma: http://dossy.org/twitter/k@rma/   @=a
and this fx add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/check-all/

This is a twitter spam site: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/tweetadder.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup-donuts
Untreusted page according to Bitdefender TrafficLigt, VrightCloud does not flag it, green 92 rep index
But the link you gave is flagged as suspicious Yellow 40
See: htxps://twitter.com/#!/EmmanuelOfficer
I see hxtp://m00.me/create.php?u=%@" in the code creating pop-ups coding to: htxp://m00.me/jyl
See: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/m00.me?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup-donuts
Is a site to shorten urls, expand check url, and the service for Tweetdeck
And there were even hacks produced for the software,
