Avast Site Blocking Limit
« on: June 20, 2012, 11:51:47 PM »
As the title reads,

I've modified the .ini file for 75 pages worth of sites, and it just cuts them off when it gets to around 500. Is there anyway to fix this issue or do we have to go to the paid version for it?

Thanks in advance,

John

welcome to the forum. if i get it right you have added 75 pages you wanted avast to block from access and you have at least 125 more you wanted to add?

its better you add those to your web browser to block. but I'm not sure if you could add more then 75 pages in avast, someone have to confirm this.

There certainly is a limit on the number (or rather total size) of the blocked size - and it's the same in the free and paid version.
That feature wasn't really meant/designed for so huge blocking lists.
