Yes , Avast 8 will handle the updating of front facing programmes when it is released

Well Snap.do is still gone but ironically, since I un-installed UpdateChecker, UpdateChecker is working just fine now. Came on this morning and helped me update 6 programs that needed it. I love it.

Hi, just a small tip for other users who experience problems with Snapdo, it's really easy: If you go to Snapdo's Help, there is a simple explanation for uninstalling the widget. http://www.snapdoapp.com/faq/SnapDo/FAQ.aspx?lang=en
