I have been using Avast Mobile 2.0.2880 for the past few days and found that issuing commands from the web page do not always work. After some trials and errors, I found that if I toggle the web shield component in the “Shield Control” section, it will work again. However, after a day or two, it will somehow stop working again and the only way to get it to work again is toggling the web component settings.
There appears to be some issues with the Web Shield component and this should be looked at ASAP as we need to be 100% certain our phone can receive remote commands at all times. Otherwise the whole anti-theft feature is pretty much useless.
