Namehelp

Overview

namehelp improves web performance by obtaining more accurate redirections to nearby content delivery network servers.

Basically, namehelp improves your web performance when either you or your ISP uses a remote DNS service.

Quote : Namehelp, a program for Windows, Mac and Linux, was created to improve the user’s web performance by up to 40%. You need to map the network adapter’s (or router’s) DNS to 127.0.0.1 after program installation before you can get started.

Considering I have data restrictions on my smart phone and none on my network,
it isn't hard to understand that statistic.
It actually is meaningless because it doesn't measure how many Windows 8 systems but just how much date those systems
received.
