Outlook Crashes

Install Avast yesterday and since then Outlook is crashing on a regular basis.

I have tried all the suggestions from other forum entries.

Here is the System Event Log...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you using any other antivirus is this computer?
Did you try to search the board for oleaut32.dll keyword?
Is the avast plugin installed and enabled into Outlook? (if you can see this...).

Thanks for the tip. I searched the forum for oleaut32.dll and found others with similar problems here...

They say that the problem is associated with MS Desktop Search. I'll shut it down and see what happens.

Here is an update...

I stopped MS Desktop search, deleted the shortcut in Programs>Startup and rebooted.

Outlook hasn't crashed since so I'd say that MS Desktop Search is definately the prob. Looks like I'll be going back to Google Desktop.
