Same for me. Have uninstalled MSE and now v7 working without freezes.

3 pages this went on for and if you had of answered ady4um truthfully when in the first reply he asked you if you had removed your previous AV then your problems would have been solved long ago.
Reetesh people like you bloody annoy me and waste so much of the forums help resources where they could have been better allocated to someone who deserved it  >:( ::)

My only AV is avast!.
Have you correctly uninstalled nod32 by following the instuctions on there website then run there removal tool for Nod32 ?

I uninstalled it couple of months ago. As I remember, I uninstalled it by following the instructions on their web site. I used avast! 6 without any problems since that.

I uninstalled it otherwise I couldn't use my computer because of its speed.
Something made the HDD work constantly and something consumed all my memory. Neither Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer was able to show what process did that, but I suspected my newest software, avast! And yes, it did this.
