On my wife's computer I was using it for around 1 hour, a pop up appeared and said I have been downgraded to free version and another pop up appeared and asked for a reboot.
So I had to uninstall free version and reinstalled premier version, rebooted and Avast changed itself back to free version again >:(
So I did it again and this time It stayed as the premier version 20.8.2432 (build 20.8.5684.602. I used my avast account this time.
There was still 451 days left on subscription. I am baffled how this could happen.

We know this is affecting other users as well.
Avast told us that they know what caused this issue, and they are working on a fix.

Where can I find more information about this issue and track its resolution? All of my computers had licensing issues, which in turn caused other issues. I'm very interested as to the root cause and status / resolution.

Similar problem now on lap top.
Avast pop appeared telling I had 17 days left on my trial. >:(
Had to put my activation code back in to get my subscription working again.
At least this time I caught it early.
Strike 2 if I get strike 3 I will not be renewing. :(
