Hi,
This morning I had an alert from Avast saying SteamService.exe and SteamErrorReporter.exe were infected by Malware-gen. I think this is another false positive like the one on Feb 5th (see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=92636.0).
Many thanks,
-

Hi,
I just submitted it using the "send to avast" option in the quarantine zone (I don't know where the quarantine is located on the drive to send you them by email).
Thanks,

Happened to me as well! Same thing, SteamService.exe reported as Malware gen.

Hello,
FP should be fixed in current stream update (pkg1203230000000002.bin).
