SOA offline updating of mirror
« on: November 22, 2013, 08:43:48 PM »
From my understanding, I can update an offline SOA by copying the mirror from an online SOA.

What exactly would I copy, and where would I find it.  My SOA has several mirror folders.
Sincerely,

Found it!

To manually update VPS / mirror on the SOA console requires 2 SOA consoles. One SOA needs to be online and updated. Close your updated SOA, then copy the files locations below, save them to a flash, and then upload them in the same location on the SOA on the closed network (close 1st if it is actively running).

SOA:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Administration Console\Mirror\Mirror

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Administration Console\Mirror\Distrib\Distrib0

Hi,

I found your post as I was looking also for the solution how to keep offline SOA (mirror) up2date. I copied folders as you described and now I have updated virus definitions. But how I can get them also to all clients at the same time? or does it happens automatically?

Thanks!
