Avast Anti Virus Bug Report
« on: June 23, 2024, 09:16:02 PM »
Hi,

I am facing an issue where Avast keeps attempting to send bug reports, during hours where I am working, and with my internet speed being incredibly slow, it prevents me from working for 10-30 minutes, is there any way of deactivating this or changing the time in which it sends a bug report?

Thanks

I don't use Avast One, but the Windows Avast Antivirus free (and I haven't experienced this). So I can't speak from personal experience.

I'm assuming you would also be getting errors displayed to the screen.  Is this correct and if so please post a screenshot of the message.

If there are bugs, I would suggest that you try an Avast Repair in Avast One.  See https://support.avast.com/en-gb/article/repair-antivirus/#pc for how to do this.
I would suggest a system restart after the Repair, to allow any changes/fixes to be applied.
