I have another question though this time about a Infection, Yesterday I got a call from my friend about his computer telling me that avast! was detecting files with the worm Win32:VB-IE (wrm) so I drove to his house and ran a manual scan with avast which picked up 271 infected files! all with Win32:VB-IE (wrm) does anyone have any idea as to what this is? I got it all cleared off but It just surprised me that there was that many infections on it.

Win32:VB-IE is an exe file infector. Dangerous. Could you manage repairing the files?

Yes, luckily I could manage to repair the infected files, I thought It might be a file infector but I wasn't sure with the (wrm) designation.

Yeah I know, I think all of us on here and trying to

but what I'm replying now for is that I just got a call from my friend and the File Infector is not gone yet when I cleaned it yesterday the system looked all clean but apparently I missed something, any clue as to how to get rid of this?

Hi Justin -

Both avast and Spybot should be able to remove Win32:VB-IE.

If not, look for these 2 files ......

autorun.inf
recycled.exe

I hope this helps.
