New interface: Locate Map question
« on: September 19, 2014, 04:01:30 PM »
A couple of questions to understand the new interface for My Account

1:once you have sent a locate command to the mobile and it comes back with the position on the map, how do you remove all the previous plots on the map? My locate map has got red spots and lines all over the place it's all very messy...... before all you had to do was go to the Anti theft tab, then the GPS tab and remove all gps data, this in the past cleared the Map.

2:When you click on a new position shown on the Locate Map, a pop up appears with some position details but it doesn't seem to show if this new position was GPS, Wifi or GSM, is this information somewhere else?

3:Can the list of Notifications be cleared?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Same thing. Same feeling.
I don't see what that new GUI provides, except regressions.
Localisation has become quite unusable.

Agreed. Please at least reinstate the date filter.  The filter let you keep historical data while being able to narrow down to a reasonable activity window.

Since the new interface, my card is full point with GPS coordinates . It 's almost unreadable. Please, give us the filter.

if you are talking about my.avast.com - please try to go in device>information>commands and delete the ones which contain location command; it could help, but I am not sure it will work. Thanks for reporting it, already passed to my avast team.

This does not work. Commands are deleted but the map has still all history and it is almost impossible to read. hundred of lines are crossing over. Any other help?
