Erroneous renewal message from Avast
« on: June 01, 2015, 12:00:24 AM »
I renewed my subscription on 7th May 2015 having been advised by Avast that it would expire 1st June.
Today I received an email from Avast advising that my subscription will expire in 48 hours.
I replied, forwarding the Avast email received on 7th may acknowledging my renewal payment.
Avast have replied directing me to this forum which I find a very unprofessional and unsatisfactory procedure.
If my protection is cancelled by Avast due to their error and my computer is infected because of this I believe that Avast will be responsible for it´s replacement and compensation for any financial or other loss I suffer as a result of their incompetence.
Has any one else experienced this error? If so, what was the outcome?
