It's called "Milking the cash cow" aka Consumerism. It's really a doctrine and some people are so washed out, they can't see straight no mo. For them... everything is normal and the people asking questions, they are the nuts. That's why you're getting funny answers.
So Zade my man, it's a "Too bad... So sad" situationnnn.
Why no Life Time, apart that it would take an additional layer of administration to manage this money so that it generates all the necessary revenues for the established length of time. The price would be something like the aforementioned amount and nobody, very few, would actually purchase it. It would not be profitable.
Same thing with cars. They can design water pumps and alternators so they never... next to never breaks. An engineer does know that if he puts in a bigger bearing, it will last 400-500 km... then they wouldn't make any money with you and he would be out of a job. But yes, cars can be made like aircraft. The garbage econobox would then cost 80 thou and the luxury sport sedan half a mill. It wouldn't work.
That is why 9.95 a month sells way better than a single payment of ten thousand.
*** Still you feed us lies from the table cloth *** -- System of a Down
I didn't say to delete the yearly payment. I said *ADD* a lifetime option. That way you have some ways to pay for avast internet security or premier.
Example of what I mean...:
Internet Security Subscription:
1 year - 19.99$
2 years - 39.99$
3 years - 59.99$
5 years - 79.99$
Lifetime - 299.99$
This is what I meant. I am sure people with high budget who have the money will go for lifetime subscription.
I really suggest Avast to do it. It is a good business strategy for people who got the money.
