It didnt work....
Were you able to import the key and even by this way it does not work? Is it this what is happening?
Or you couldn't be able to import the key?

I clicked on it and it seemed to work through fine.  I d'loaded the new VPS and rebooted as asked.....same thing happened.

It seems like many others are having the same problem..... http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=28199.0

Could you please start regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager, select the value BootExecute and export it to a file? If you could post the file as an attachment here, I would like to check what could be wrong there.

In XP, if you press F8 when starting Windows and select 'Last known good configuration' from the boot menu, *maybe* the reboot loop is removed...

Same problem here. Is Avast! going to fix this bug?
