Technical,

This window is very odd.  To my knowledge, Avast has not inserted such a warning message in their Splash.

Send an email over to Pavel and see what he can come up with.

It could be something we are not aware of.

They ran into this same one too over at Wilders, when they switched their boards over to vBulletin a couple of months ago.  It was quickly decided by the "brass" that it was an attempt at humor by the vB software developers.

I'm suprised to see it on a board running under totally different software, though, unless maybe YaBB uses the same engine for IM's as vB does.

Mike,

I believe that Avast and Wilders use Yabb and it uses the same engine.
Maybe that accounts for the "funny".  ???

I've checked the forum code (remember, it's not our product), this message appears only in Instant Message handling and is kind of fatal error message.

It does database query using your name, the other name etc. and if such query returns less than 1 records, it displays the above message.

I think it could occur in two cases:
a) you delete the IM and then you try to do it in other window
b) you do reload, or click twice on the same IM.

Forget it, I think. Just a bit of bad wording.

Sorry, probably I did some of these things... Most probably the first as I use MyIE2 with a lot of windows  ::)
