Why did my Avast email filter stop working?

I got a notification that Avast add In for Outlook was corrupted and had to be disabled. Ever since I've been getting ***SPAM*** in my inbox. Can someone direct me how to reinstall just that component or help me figure it out?

There is a bug in the latest avast version Outlook plugin.
It was already reported and will be corrected soon with a new program update.
The solution is disabling the avast! plugin for a while.

Okay. Well I'm glad it's not me:D Is there going to be a alert somewhere, or will it just automatically be updated when they fix it?

It will be in the next program update in theory.
If it is automatic or manual, it depends in your own avast! settings.
