The problem with Avast Free and Svchost.exe solved!
« on: July 15, 2012, 12:43:35 PM »
With operating system "Windows XP Professional SP3 Integrated October 2012 (32-bit) + SATA Drivers" Avast Free 7 has a conflict with a process Svchost.exe, I managed to solve the problem and I think Windows was to blame!
After I tried another Windows, avast! behave normally and protects my computer!!!

It may be that a process Svchost.exe to be suspicious, that I think

P.S-post result after fix :)

Thanx xD

(Avast 7 Free 7.0.1456)

What was the conflict/error with svchost.exe as I certainly haven't seen any on my XP Pro system ?
How was it resolved ?

The svchost.exe is as it name suggests is a service host and that can be used by many processes (not all legit, if you browse the viruses and worms forum).
