Temporaly disable your security softwere. Check Malwarebytes is it disabled. Then try to run otl script.
If you run OTL successes or it fails, it does not matter, run TFC as addition. Just in case...
Important to us is to Combofix successfully pass their circle.

1. Try to run OTL script one more time...

2. Please download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop
  • Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
  • It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
  • Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp
files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute
or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
  • Once it's finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.
3.Then try to run Combofix. If it fails to run, try to run in safe mode. ;)

Before I saw your latest post, I went ahead & finished the steps that u previously told me. I ran combofix and have attached the log.  I checked the avast vault and i doesnt have anything for today so I think i may have gotten rid of the trojan. But since I've run the combofix my laptop is randomly freezing up for a few minuted now. and Ive notice a new windows update reminder for the maliciouse removal tool ( pic attached).

Im trying to run appremover now, but its taking a extremely long time to scan. Tried safe mode, but it came back with 0 results

Edit: Finally finishes scan with AppRemover, no results when using second option (Clean Up a Failed Uninstall).

Should i just skip and try the combofix again?

It is necessary to uninstall the ComboFix :
  • Click Start (or ) then Run.

On Windows7 or Vista you may use Start Search field if Run is not available.

  • In the line of text type in (Copy) the following:
Code: [Select]
ComboFix /Uninstall
    Note that there is a space between " ComboFix " and " /Uninstall " .

    • then click OK (or press Enter ).
Wait for the uninstall process is complete.

Are you saying that your computer restarts while trying to Uninstall Combofix?

Download & run this utility. This is Combofix Uninstaller.
