I only really only use Avast! as backup, I know well enough how to use a computer and the crap to avoid and I haven't had a virus on my computer since I was a kid in the 90's. With that being said, Avast keeps popping up insisting that I register because my license is about to expire. It's also telling me that in the last week or whatever I've had 0 suspicious files and 0 viruses. Why would this even pop up, since there have been NO reports of viruses? The pop-up is driving me nuts because it still pops-up after you close it (after only a few minutes!)
Avast! used to offer a continued free license if you signed in... Have they since dropped that option?
