I have Xperia Ray from Soni ericson and undated to ICS 4.1.b.0.431. I had installed Avast mobile security from play store and then anti theft by allowing rooting the phone. Today my Pc compenion says there is new update available for my phone with ICS 4.1.b.0.587 . So does i need to uninstall anti theft and unroot the phone before upgrading to the new firmware? Please let me know very sharply as i do not want any kind of problem in my phone while upgrading to latest firmware.
