Thanks for the extensive report! I'll take a look at it.

Meanwhile, could you please try to disable sending of the account status and then enable it again? It should send the current status right away. Then go to the my.avast.com and check the "Last Communication" field on the Security Info tab. There should be something like "1 minute ago".

Thanks,

Ondra

The state of the device is sent once every hour (it can be set on the avast! Account screen on your phone down to 1 minute). On the web, just press F5 or go to another page and back, if you want to see the new state :)

Anyways, I'm glad that worked,

The reloading web page won't reload device state :/. and setting "send device stat per minute will be huge battery hog  :o

Yeah, don't set it to 1 minute, 1 hour is the most reasonable default :).

Reloading the web won't reload the device state, if there is no new information about it. But when the phone sents a new state (once every hour), then you have to reload the web to see the new state there.

That's why i think having "reload device state" on my.avast.com will be helpful  8)

I have the same problem.

All is green but still it's "Unsecured".
I removed my cell phone from the account and linked it again, but that didn't work.
Also the cellphone connected serveral times today, and the status stays the same.

I have the default connection time of a hour.

Possible solution if yours is like mine. On your device, make sure App Shield, Web Shield and Message Shield are all checked.

I had the same issue when I installed avast a few days ago. Basically, I had the web shield and part of the app shield (scan apps on execution) disabled/unchecked. It took me a while to figure this out because on the device it says secured.
