Can I now uninstall EZ Firewall?

Hi, I realise this is a really newbie question. I have installed avast home edition. I am unsure - does it also do the job EX firewall is doing, as I'd like to uninstall it.

welcome to the forum!

avast! is not a firewall, it's an anti-virus solution that provides some protection through it's programme "Network shield"

A forum search will show many stand alone software firewalls that work along with avast!
