Threat Detected Warning

HI, I've been using Avast for over a year now but since about the past 2 or 3 days whenever I do a search I get a message saying threat has been detected. It happens no matter which search engine I use, Yahoo, Google any of them, every time. I've scanned the computer manually and did a boot time scan as well as checked the automatic scans and nothing is found but a check of my network shields shows 28 connections blocked. I've even downloaded Malwarebytes today and scanned and it didn't find anything either. What's going on? Below is a warning message that I copied. Any help or insight you can provide would be appreciated.

• Then click the Run Fix button at the top
  
• Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
• Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

Download and Install Combofix
 
Download ComboFix from one of the following locations:

• Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
  
• Accept the disclaimer and allow to update if it asks

• When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
• Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.[/b]
  

Notes:
1. Do not mouse-click Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
2. Do not "re-run" Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
3.  If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.
