Am I secure conecting a Pendrive using AvastFree??

Hi all.

The problem is that my family is at home and they want to connect a USB pendrive with Photos on my computer OMG. :-\
Im pretty sure that that pendrive have a Virus, (I had to repair their computers in the past and that was terrible). Also they said that the pendrive was conected on a computer of a public photho shop, pffft.
I dont want be rude with them BUT I dont want connect that shit on my pc and get infected. We have Lunch time and after lunch they want to came to my computer to screw it.
Pleaseee this situation is baaaaaad. Im using Avast Free.. Am I secure?

recomended to use alongside avast

special USB protection program  http://amf.mycity.rs/mcshield/

it will scan when you connect.....when done you can right click the drive and scan it with avast

OBS and remeber no security program have 100% detection

if you need support for that program you find all contact info in the program..
they are very quick to respond.....usually within a couple of hours

Nah, I already did the job.
That was easy, mcshield detected the pendrive and scanned it, after that I used avast to scan too. The USB was clean (I hope).
I really hate connect unknown pendrives on my PC. I had problems with that in the past... I was mad but all looks ok. Thanks for the tips.
