As title says, text box in every avast! window automatically activates IME so I have to deactivate IME in order to write correct text or numbers in it.
This issue is since the initial avast! 5 release.
In most cases there is no need to input Japanese (CJK or anything using IME) into avast! settings, or it could result unexpected troubles when these paramaters get set to full-width (2 bytes) words, like attached picture.
I hope this behavior will get fixed (i.e. not enabling IME) in next avast! 8.
