VRDB vs. System Restore
« on: February 10, 2005, 10:48:42 AM »
Hi, all. Just wondering if it's really necessary to use the VRDB feature if System Restore is working properly. In the event of an infection, wouldn't System Restore be able to "repair" a file as well as VRDB would? Thanks.

Hi Baz,
System Restore will restore the whole OS to a previous state, while VRDB will just clean/restore the infected file.

[BTW, you should really resize you avatar.]
