Unable to install in Ubuntu 12.04
« on: December 22, 2012, 03:16:23 AM »
Attempting to install on Ubuntu 12.04 and get the following:

The package is of bad quality
The installation of a package which violates the quality standards isn't allowed. This could cause serious problems on your computer. Please contact the person or organisation who provided this package file and include the details beneath.

The package doesn't provide a valid Installed-Size control field. See Debian Policy 5.6.20.

Anyone know of a fix? Or if this issue is to be rectified at some point in the future?

Thanks in advance.

Open a terminal.

Type the following:
cd ~/folder-that-contains-installer-
sudo dpkg -i installer_name.deb
