internet security 7 has stopped

Can anyone help,  after running a 'restore my computer to an earlier date' my avast internet security 7 has stopped running and it wont turn back on, any ideas? thankyou

Avast doesn't like the system restore and the avast self protection needs to be disabled first so that this problem doesn't occur in the future.

You can try running a repair via the uninstall function in Programs and Features but if that doesn't fix it you'll have to install a new copy of avast.
