Anti-theft wrongly blocked my SIM
« on: January 28, 2013, 12:48:19 PM »
Greetings!
I had successfully installed Anti-theft component, root mode with all features enabled. Today I woke up phone and noticed it does behave as if no SIM was inserted. No PIN request on phone boot and PIN setting for SIM card were disabled. Phone reports No signal and mobile data were enforced. After I entered Avast control panel, deactivated AT the phone returned to normal mode, ie. PIN is required again, phone is connected to network and my provider is recognized.
Looks like AT unwanted behaviour since SIM wasnot changed neither the phone was marked as lost.

seems like your phone temporarily did not recognize the SIM. that happens. AT does not cause any such problems (we do not have APIs to do such cool stuff :-)).
