Avast Account Registration

My account wasn't supposed to expire until June but for the past 2 days it has showed it will expire in 30 days and today, 29 days.

I just re-registered but it's still showing ........see attachment's.

Why is it still showing my account will expire in 29 days?

I think I should have posted the 2nd attachment first.  Sorry.

What does security status off mean?

In image #1 it says your expiration date is March 4, 2013. Thus the 29 days which for some reason doesn't jive with the second image.
Are you sure these are for the same machine?  ???

And the green checkmark means your system is secured. I did not see any indication of "security off".  ??? ???

Yes, they're from the same machine.   Right beside the little monitor and my PC's name it shows security status off.

BTW.......it's still showing the same as in my first attachment.

I was unable to properly register Avast 8 beta, so I'm thinking there may be a problem with the registration server(s).

You may wish to delete or edit the second pic as it contains your email addy (spammers). ;)

You tried the beta version and removed it.
You installed avast!7 and it now needs to be registered so it starts off with a 30 day trial.
Register with your license and you'll get the correct expiration date.

I use the free version.  I've already registered 3 times.  Still showing I have 29 days left until it expires.

Have you tried a repair? Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a program>double click "avast">scroll to and click "repair">reboot.  :)
Did you by any chance back-up your v7.0.xxx settings?  ???

I registered at least 4 times and it still showed I had only 27 days left so this am I created a new email address, registered again so now I good for another year.  Would post a screen shot but it shows my email address.

Then you have to use and investigate the settings in the program, make a screenshot and use it for experimentation using the edit tools available. Once you have the basics mastered removing/obscuring an email address is an absolute breeze, but you have to practice.
