Webrep crashes (Chrome v24, Vista SP2)

Hello

Im getting the infamous,

"Avast: Webrep has crashed. Click this balloon to reload the extension."

I do so and it just keeps happening.

Also, in the extension area is says, "Not from chrome web store"

I tried the "drag and drop" solution on Youtube
C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\WebRep\Chrome\AswWebRepChrome.crx

Windows XP: Click Start> Control Panel> Add or Remove programs> avast> repair
 
Windows Vista / Windows 7: Click Start> Control Panel> Programs> Programs and Features> avast> repair

if that does not work try a fresh install of Chrome browser
