Pointing aswMBR to Other Drives?
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:15:15 AM »
Is there any way to get aswMBR to point to any arbitrary drive attached to the computer and select which drive's MBR gets "fixed"?

The MBR should indicate all internal drives/partitions, that is what the MBR is, the Master Boot Record.

Why are you considering the use of aswMBR as this really isn't a tool that should be used without advice.

David, I'm asking a question beyond where you think I am.     If I remove the boot device and make some other drive on the system the new boot device, I have to worry about the MBR on each of those drives separately.    Your question is based on some assumption that I only have one boot device, and I do not.

Yes, I didn't twig about your other topic on this, why it is best kept in one topic as Tech mentioned.
