avast virus cleaner download

I cant get the program to run, I get error message saying " Aswclnr has caused an error in USER.EXE " can anyone help? I have a worm that keeps activating after I remove the dll files.  I am running windows ME and running avast4.6 home addition but it doesn't seem to be able to find the problem.

This is an error from the 16-bit subsystem of Windows... it's really hard to say what may cause it.
To me, it sounds like a "low resource" condition to me - quite common on Win9x platform.
Does the error appear every time you run Cleaner? Also if you reboot your system right before it?

What is the exact size of aswClnr.exe?
