Hi guys and gals, i am havibg problems with the latest update ie, I cant down load it :-( it keeps saying its my firewall. How can I fix this problem ?.

Hi, welcome to the avast forum.
An obvious question is - are you using a firewall? Does virus database update work?

I think it might be windowas fire wall thats the problem i am using winxp home
the message that came up from avast said to check the FAQ which i did and there is nothing about firewalls in there :-(
