missing icon in system tray

hi,
the avast icon is missing in my system tray. i tried to repair the program but it didn't help. the icon was there after i reinstalled the program, but it disappeared again when i switched on the computer the next time. i'm not sure if the real time scan is running.
any idea what the problem is?
