Maybe im doing something wrong, but i tried using the command items to test on my phone like siren, message etc.
All I got was queued until it timed out. And it wouldn't work after repeated attempts. I tried the fix settings and nothing was wrong
So, after i looked at settings, i tried again, and it worked instantly.
I soon discovered if the phone is off and locked normally, the commands do not work. The phone has to be unlocked and on for any command to work.
Lookout does these commands regardless of the phones state.
And since there the lock, odds are if the phone is stolen, it won't be able to be unlocked, meaning locate, siren message, etc won't do anything.
So my question is am i doing something wrong or is this what it does? Whats the point of all these cool features if they only work for me since I know how to unlock the phone?
