cant get rid if trojan-how do i save a log from hijackthis?

computer has Win32 Trojan-gen and i cant get rid of it. Just downloaded hijackthis how do i save and send a log to be analyzed?

Why not choosing "do a system scan and save a log file"?
Seems a very logical choice to me.

Click on the link in my signature and visit the HJT section. It has all you need (to know) about HijackThis.

And if you want to make sure your system is clean. Click the link and do as mentioned in the malware removal section.
