"there was an error while completing the setup process"!!!
After several failed attempts to get into safe mode I was able to use the uninstall utility
http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility but the same error is showing!
i attached setup log and an image with the error
extras from log:

PS:
win 7 extreme edition sp 1
no other security software installed
i used avast before avast!
