Avast Deleted My .exe applications installed on my PC

Hello everyone, I installed avast 7 on my PC.after installing. When I run my Applications, it detected as trojan. Then in moves to the virus chest. Why did this happen. Please give me some advice. Thank you..

first you need to tell us what file is detected?
where is it located....full file path?
what malware name does avast give the file?

I have my notepad ++ installed in my PC and when i run it. It deleted the notepad.exe files. Sir.

is it Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]  ?

I had bad news for you: Win32:RmnDrp is file infector, but there should be option to clean the files.

First I would recommend a boot scan with Avast to clean as much as it can

Can it affect my computer hardware? I mean does file infector affect my computer hardware?

Do reformating also the computer solve this problem?

There is no such virus that affects hardware...first do what essexboy told and then follow the instructions in guide,dont just directly try to hop on the big work of reformatting
