Avast AV 8.0.1483 Free & Firefox 20.0.1 downloading files

Hi all,

Quick question if you please:

I have Avast AV free installed and use Firefox to download files.
Under the old version of Avast Av, it told me when it was scanning the files after they finished downloading in FFox.
I can not see where or if it is actually scanning the downloaded files in this new version of Avast.

Can anyone pls enlighten me?

Evidently that no longer "appears" with the latest Firefox version.
Don't worry they are being scanned, and will be scanned again when you install them on your machine.
You can rest easy. avast has you covered.
