I have a serious question
« on: September 20, 2003, 04:19:19 AM »
My computer is Windows XP:
Just pasted in an half hour:
When I connected with 56k, after an hour, my computer told me that the REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL is going to to shut it down.
After restarting, I immediately activated the firewall. Do you know what is the next? I couldn't find any virus manually. I checked /system32/, there are no msblast, and no other evolutions of msblast. Actually I found none of them according to the information of mcafee.com.
I checked the registry cleanly too. However, I still couldn't find any infection. I checked the /Run/ key at both CURRENT-USER and LOCAL-MACHINE. But I am now so wondered by that error!!

Have you tried of this case? So is that a worm, virus, or trojan?
