Mail Problems in Outlook Express

forgot to tell you mail program outlook express windows xp pac 2     256 ram   and whne i got the error message it came up as soon as i clicked check mail   with or without attachements

Ok, as you can see, i'm not an experienced user but I'm interested because (as you say rightly) many users have some problems... and me the same. But my problem was solved after reinstallation of SP 2. I run WinXP Pro and my original version (on cd-rom) was SP1.
Well, after SP2, many programs ran badly so I decided to reinstall all SP2... MAGIC!!!... all problems disappears. Have you troubles also with other software or only with Avast!

Ok. Unfortunately I'm have not the skills to help you with wise suggestions... I can only hypotize and I understand how you want have no problems.
I'm very happy for your attention and I hope to see you lagain on this forum... maybe some evangelist find a solution for you.
